A Little Bit of Assistance

If you guys wouldn't mind, take a moment to visit THIS PAGE and help a Patriarchy/Quiverfull survivor gain a scholarship by casting a simple vote for her. Absolutely NO information is required from you, and it literally will take just a few seconds of your time. I've met this young woman and can't adequately describe just how amazing she is or how deserving of this scholarship she is. A little bit of help could mean a lot. To those of you who take a few seconds to do this - a heartfelt thanks.

  2. As a quivering daughter who was able to get out of that system, I applaud Jennifer for her bravery and desire to help other young women!

  3. Bravo!!! Voted! I specifically remember my dad lecturing me about how wrong it would be to even get my GED. After I got married and got my GED, I felt sooo empowered... like few can understand. THEN I started college. Right now that's on hold because I know have a two year old that keeps me way busy, but just the fact that I now have the option to pursue anything I want feels like a dream.

  4. My heart goes out to Jennifer - well do I remember the days when my stepfather would lecture on the pointlessness of getting a high school diploma or even a GED - "just a piece of paper" - since we girls weren't to get a higher education or a job outside the home. When eventually I got my "piece of paper" the Bachelor of Arts, I couldn't have been more excited.
